The first time he crawled we were jacked up and excited! He might have crawled backwards. Every little milestone your kid does, you go crazy for! He just started walking too and we got so excited! He holds himself up and we are just screaming and yelling trying to get him to keep going. He also started saying dada, which Nicole is a little upset about since she wants to be the favorite! We are really lucky in that we get to be with him all the time and we don’t need a nanny. It’s special and such a privilege to be able to stay with him everyday. He’s definitely a daddy’s boy and I don’t blame him! Sorry Nicole…
Today was the best day ever! My baby boy turned one and it was very special. I’m a very emotional mother to begin with so dealing with my baby turning one is freaking me out!! Ever since becoming a mother my life has completely changed for the better. Lorenzo was the best thing that has ever happened to me. He’s made me realize the important things in life and what really matters, and that’s family. Now everything that I do is for my son, and I could not be a more prouder and happier mom. I love you Lorenzo, you are my world and I’m so proud of you! Love you to the stars and beyond….xoxoxo
Hey guys! This week’s trainer question comes from Des who asks, “I’m 18 weeks pregnant and I’d like to know what exercises are safe to do so I can continue working out my arms and my legs to get rid of cellulite.”
Working out while pregnant has been a debatable issue for decades. Thankfully, science has concluded that regular workouts tend to make the delivery process easier and reduce post pregnancy recovery times. At 18 weeks, your new arrival is developing quite rapidly and we want to avoid excessive stress in the abdominal region. Avoid movements that require you to “bear down” or concave your torso in a way the ribs approach the pelvic area. Your rep range should (on average) exceed 15 reps to ensure poundages are safe. Of course, NEVER embark on any regimen under these circumstances without the clear notification and authorization of a licensed physician. Giving birth next to a dumbbell rack is NOT COOL.
The other day, Jionni, Lorenzo, and I all went to Seaside Heights for a fun day at the beach! We had such a fun and relaxing time in the warm sun, it was such a great family day.
